Any good Thai restaurants in Scarborough or Markham?

Are these Thai restaurants good?

Even though the restaurant names are similar, they are not owned by the same restaurant owners (I phoned and asked).

Thanks for reviews.

7 star...was there in the winter...prob one of the worst experiences I have had to date...the place was FREEZING to begin with, the service was confusing and slow (all the orders for the table were mixed up). The food portions are big, but the food was not flavorful (IMO)...

There is a thai place @ Kennedy/Sheppard in that plaza across from Wal-Mart...the name slips my mind...its better..smaller place, think its owned by Chinese (what my Cantonese friend told me) but I still liked it...prices were reasonable as well...

I did order delivery from

Little Bangkok Thai Cuisine

The food wasn't bad but the prices are kind of high

Don't order
Golden Basket - Krathong-Tong $ 6.95
Finely diced chicken meat and house special flavored vegetable mixture stuffed in crispy pastry shells.

TINY little baskets
not worth ordering

Try Lemongrass at Silverstar Bl. & Steeles....

I went to lemongrass, their food was good. However... they stored their mango pulp (for their mango juice) and their coffee whitener and their tsingtao in the bathroom. Go check out the album: http://facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... 7597209669

The Chef Thai Fusion is also not bad in my opinion:

I agree. The best time to go is Mon-Sat at lunch. You get a soup, spring roll and main dish (includes rice) for under $10. Much better than going during dinner time.

I go to Lemongrass with my gf quite a bit. We both seem to think the food is really flavourful. I don't know if its 'real' thai food, since I've never been to thailand but the food is good nevertheless.

I like lemongrass too(although I know is not the most authentic) espeicially their lunch specials for $6.99 which is quite good.

There is also Spices Thai Asian Cuisine on Hwy 7 which is not bad too but a bit on the expensive side.

Also, there is an All you can eat Thai place(chinese owned) on McNicol and Victoria Park for $14.95/person which I'm thinking of trying later.

I'm guessing you're referring to 金泰爺 which is next to Elegantview Chinese Restaurant... I've been there twice and do not recommend it at all: the servers kept getting our orders wrong, the general service/attitude is terrible, the food came at a really really slow pace, the food was crappy besides the curry crab (which is the selling point) we had a medium-size party but the server tried to limit our orders when taking our orders (hence beating the notion of "all-you-can-eat"), there is an unspoken last call which is about a whole hour before the stated closing time, we had a BABY whose only diet is milk (which we brought!) and he was charged as well.
