[Foot Locker] HOT: Merrells Boots $49.99 - Dixie Outlet mall

I was shopping at Dixie Outlet Mall in Mississauga today and found a steal on Merrell Boots for $49.99 at the Foot Locker Outlet. As for sizes they had a lot of size 10 up to 13. There were about 10 pairs left. These shoes usually go for way over $100. Pretty good steal if you ask me.

I've seen similar ones at Sportchek. http://sportchek.ca/sportchek/do/st ... leId=29841

Here are the actual shoes:

those are some fugly shoes
Merrells are really functional outdoor shoes for that price. A lot of people wore them on my 22 day Outward Bound trip and they stood up to every natural obstacle thrown at them.

Your 2nd link points to a pair of sandals. Nice sense of humour. Seriously, $159 is a little too expensive; do these ever get under $100? I need a size anyhow so the outlet is useless to me.

They're more for function than fashion
It's not about function, it's about advertising.
What part of functionality does sticking different colored piece of plastic and tags all over it serve? Change all the red and yellow to black and it's fine, the only reason they're there is to get people to pay them to advertise their product.

Was there today and these scanned at $109. Low cut black scanned at $99 and grey low pulse Merrels I picked up for $49. sign on top of pile was deceiving. I also got 5 Mens t shirts asst. colours for $30.

That's so strange. I saw another pair of high cut Merrell boots that looked almost exactly the same (except for colour) as the ones I bought for $49 but they were $109. I spoke to one of the store people asking why that was the case. He said that different colours are released at different times and that the $49 ones were an older release. The grey low pulse Merrels were also on sale for $49 but they didn't have any more sizes left.

Here are the boots I saw for $109....pretty close to the $49 ones.

Thanks for the tip, OP. Picked up a pair tonight and they are great waterproof footwear. No more soakers walking around the city any longer.

I have a pair of these too, and I can say that they are well worth the high price tag. Oh so comfortable.

These really are incredibly comfortable shoes and go nicely with all sorts of casual clothes. My only complaint is that the sole wears down fairly quickly (lifespan approx. 1 year). Columbia makes a very similar-looking shoe that I currently wear but the sole is a lot more durable.
